Vers un Québec sans faim !

July 8 to October 4, 2026

A travelling exhibition of posters and artifacts about food rights

Presenting food and nutrition as fundamental human rights, Vers un Québec sans faim outlines this complex societal issue via posters produced by citizens’ collectives. Building on the achievements and promises of these initiatives, the exhibition explores their emancipatory potential and offers a vision of food systems that prioritize human creativity, equal access, social justice, and ecological sustainability.

As it addresses the issues and challenges of food security and sovereignty for the future of humanity and the planet, Vers un Québec sans faim believes firmly in the recognition and implementation of the right to food, for all.

This project was created by UQAM’s Centre de recherche en imagerie populaire (CRIP) in collaboration with the Regroupement des cuisines collectives du Québec (RCCQ).
