Founded in 1976 in Montreal’s Centre-Sud neighborhood, the Comité logement Ville-Marie is an organization dedicated to defending tenants’ rights, developing social housing, and improving the quality of life for residents of the borough. The exhibition Des pancartes et des portes : 50 ans de lutte pour le droit au logement invites visitors to discover its history and celebrate the achievements made possible by the commitment and determination of its team and members. Relive five decades of collective action through archival materials and the memories of those who have contributed to the Comité logement’s longevity and tenacity!
