Support our civic and cultural mandate by taking part in our annual auction!
Around sixty works of art auctioned off to benefit the Écomusée
Since 2001, the Écomusée du fier monde annually organizes a benefit auction, profits from which allow it to continue its activities. Each year, around sixty works of art are put up for auction.
Discover the pictorial works of Québécois and Canadian artists that have made a mark in the past decades. Among them, there are emerging artists as well as those who have achieved national and international renown.
Profits from the auction are distributed among the Écomusée and the artists. Profits from the sale of a work are also shared with three neighbourhood organizations selected beforehand
Submit Works
The Ecomusée invites artists to apply.
The selection committee will study the files and proceed with selecting the works. Each year, around 30 works are selected for the live auction, while another 30 are selected for the virtual auction.
By submitting a work for auction:
- a photo of your work is published in the printed and online catalogue;
- the work will be presented at the Variations sur l’art d’ici exhibition;
- the name of the donor will appear on the honor roll during the live auction evening.
Please note that submissions must include 2 to 3 works and be made no later than September 30 of the year preceding the auction.
